New Theater Company forms in Central New Jersey: Triangle Circle Players

Focusing on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersexual or Questioning (LGBTIQ) Issues

We are a new theater production company focused on tolerance, acceptance, love and spirituality issues – with a special interest in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersexual, Queer or Questioning (LGBTIQ) issues and topics. However we are non-exclusive; all are invited to participate/volunteer in our productions, regardless of your sexual orientation. Our logo symbolizes alliance with gay rights and space free from homophobia and we simply ask for the same from our participants. We also strongly encourage anyone, heterosexual or other, to attend our productions!

“The mission of Triangle Circle Players is to “educate and inform New Jersey area residents about tolerance, acceptance, love and spirituality issues and topics by producing plays, musicals and other productions.” said Darren Nye, founder and managing director of Triangle Circle Players. He also stated “We do not yet have a theater of our own, so we are looking for theaters in central New Jersey that we can use for our performances.”

Meetings and some rehearsals to be held at The Pride Center of New Jersey, a LGBTIQ Community Center in Highland Park, NJ.

The first public meeting will be held on Tuesday September 20th from 7pm till 10pm, to discuss the first production, “Avow”, by Bill C Davis. Avow is a dramedy dealing with love, gay marriage, premarital sex, single parenting, the Catholic Church and celibacy. Auditions will be held at a later time.
